Greetings Honourable Prime Minister Sir. I am Krishiv Sharma (18 yrs) from Bengaluru Being part of the Indian Youth Community, there is a topic that personally concerns me and should concern all of ours, especially in the 75th anniversary of our Constitution. In recent years, there has been an increasing trend of our youth migrating to countries abroad to avail higher education opportunities, even though there are much better opportunities available in universities in India. It is my request for you to address this trend in your next Mann ki Baat. Just as you had coined the slogan “Wed in India” in an earlier Mann ki Baat, I request you to promote the slogan “Study in India”. Raising this issue in your next Mann ki Baat will help raise awareness of the various options for higher education available in our country, promoting our education ecosystem. It will also help the youth of this country to contribute positively to our nation’s development in the spirit of our constitution.

Vrikshit Foundation’s youth-led team has worked relentlessly to create 5 mini forests across India. With 40,720+ trees planted and 5 dumping yards converted into public libraries, their efforts are paving the way for a cleaner, greener nation.
