Honourable PM Modi Ji my Namaskaras. The 21st International Junior Science Olympiad was held in Bucharest, Romania from 2 Dec 2024 to 11 Dec2024 in which 2 teams from our country comprising of 6 students participated. This is a competition in science (physics, Chemistry and Biology) for the students of high school under the age of 15 years. All the 6 students bagged 6 gold medals and 3 special prizes out of the 303 students from all over the world. Our country INDIA was declared the BEST COUNTRY out of the 52 countries that participated. The India Embassy in Romania was also present in the closing ceremony when India was declared the best country. 4 teacher-leaders accompanied the 6 students out of which, I, Dr. Rekha S former Principal, VVS First Grade college, Bangalore, India was one of them. Honourable PM ji, it will be very encouraging and motivating for the young students of about 15 years to participate in such science competitions and bring laurels to our country if mentioned.
