Ministry of Defense & PMO:- Think seriously about using BSF to defend LOC and ITBP to defend LAC. Dont use Indian Army to patrol borders, use army only in Siachin area. By using BSF & ITBP presusre will be less on Army for troop deployment and use Army as second layer as you do in International Border. Whenever you have shifted troops in Kashmir you had problem. In 1990 after Kashmir militancy and insuregency you shifted troops from LOC and Kargil war happened. In 2020 you shifted troops from Jammu to Ladakh and Jammu terror attacks started. Try thinking differently rather then using beaurocratic - diplomatic logic. LAC and LOC is ceasefire line and not International border does not mean it cant be defended by BSF or ITBP troops. It will also relive pressure on Indian Army for troop deployment and management purposes as it will be relived from border guarding duties.
