Why has the Indian government not extended pension benefits to SSCOs despite their years of service, unlike regular commissioned officers? What steps has government taken to address the demands of SSCOs for OROP on a pro-rata basis? How does government justify denying Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS) benefits to non-pensioner SSCOs who served in wars like 1965, 1971 Kargil 1999? Why was the original 5-year service requirement for SSCOs extended to 10 years, without any repurcussion of their employment after 10 yr? What actions has the Ministry of Defence taken in response to the Armed Forces Tribunal’s rulings favoring medical facilities for SSCOs?

Appeal for Reforms: The government’s lateral recruitment initiative is a good step, but further reforms are needed to ensure fair employment and healthcare benefits for SSCOs.

Healthcare Discrimination: SSCOs with less than 20% disability receive no pension. I struggle to walk due to service injuries but must still bear 25% of ECHS expenses. Unfulfilled Promises: Former Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar’s promise of improved medical facilities remains unfulfilled. Legal Battles: Despite favourable rulings from the Armed Forces Tribunal, SSCOs are denied medical benefits due to bureaucratic delays. War Veterans’ Neglect: Even SSCOs who served in wars and insurgencies are denied pension and benefits. Resettlement and Career Issues: Career prospects are limited, and SSCOs are excluded from resettlement schemes. Use and Throw Policy: The government’s approach towards SSCOs reflects a “use and throw” mindset. SSCOs have served the nation with pride and sacrifice. I urge to constitute a high-level committe.

श्रीमान प्रधानमंत्री महोदय प्रणाम, मैं पिछले चार वर्ष से खाटूश्यामजी फाल्गुन मेले में श्रद्धालुओं को पर्यावरण संरक्षण का संदेश लिखे हुए जुट के कैरी बैग देकर उनको सिंगल यूज प्लास्टिक का इस्तेमाल नहीं करने व अपने घर पर किसी भी शुभ कार्य के आयोजन पर एक पौधा लगाकर उसको पेड़ बनाने की अपील करता हूं इस बार मैंने मैले में स्वच्छता को लेकर एक छोटा सा प्रयोग किया जिससे वहां की साफ सफाई में 60% तक की वृद्धि हुई। मैं मैले में एक भंडारा संचालक को बर्तन देखकर डिस्पोजल का उपयोग नहीं करने को कहा तो उन्होंने श्रद्धालुओं को बर्तनों में ही प्रसादी खिलाई जिससे उनके 20 - 22 हजार रुपए की बचत भी हुई क्योंकि इतने के डिस्पोजल आ जाते हैं और हर वर्ष से इस वर्ष साफ सफाई भी 60% तक अधिक रही। इसके लिए मैं 8-10 अन्य भंडारा संचालकों को भी जागरूक किया तो उन्होंने मुझे अगले फाल्गुन मैले में डिस्पोजल का उपयोग नहीं करने का आश्वासन दिया। अगर इस प्रकार मेले में सभी भंडारा संचालक अगर डिस्पोजल का इस्तेमाल ना करें तो वहां की स्थानीय जनता को मैले के बाद में होने सफाई से संबंधित समस्या से बचाया जा सकता है ।

Dear Sir, I would request you to address the menace of lobbying for liquor, narcos,smoking and unbridled sex that are being shown as modern day civilisational transformation in movies and on OTT platforms. I feel there is a compulsion on movie makers to show liquor consumption by lead stars and their parents admiring that coupled with on screen sensuous acts and narco and cigar uses. Our Culture ministry is doing nothing. Are we under such severe compulsion due to the influence of the business community? The youth are getting swayed by such depiction of the hero and heroine. Many movies based on Ramayana or Mahabharatha or Bhagavatha are not coming because of such degrading specifications. Even if they make, they insert such scenes. Such movie scenes do create bad impressions in the minds of youngmen who look at girls or women as objects of enjoyment. This adds to the Crime rate of the country. When the government is to govern, why should it sell liquor? Please advise the youth
