To find success in student life, a student is required to prepare well before attending the class. This would be possible through developing Academic Skills among the students. Hence, Academic Skills should be considered in Formal Education very effectively. Academic Skills like Reading, Writing, Analytical Thinking, Communication, Research etc. are the core pre- requisites of class room activities. Every student should get the orientation about these skills in three phases. Basic, Intermediate and Advanced can be considered in Higher Primary School, High School and PUC respectively. Trained faculty members from Higher Education can be deputed to take sissions on these skills either to the school teachers or directly to the students. Thank you Dr. Hariprasad S, Assistant Professor in Commerce Government First Grade College Uppinangady, Karnataka

Respected Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji, In Sector 125, Mohali (Punjab), multiple open areas inside well-known societies and residential colonies have become dumping grounds. People throw garbage there, plastic is sometimes burned, and even garbage collectors dump waste in the open. These spots are right next to homes, causing strong smell, mosquitoes, and serious health concerns for children and families. Residents, including me, have complained many times on the Swachhata App over the past two years, but no action has been taken, even though the app promises a 24–48 hour response. This has made people lose trust in the system. A proper waste-management model with scheduled garbage trucks, trained workers, and recycling units could help. In Punjab alone, it could create 60,000–75,000 jobs, and across India 25–30 lakh jobs. My humble request is to improve the Swachhata App’s responsiveness and implement a structured, city-by-city waste-collection system with regular inspections.

I want to suggest a new idea called ‘National Digital Civics ID (NDC-ID)’ under Digital India 2.0. The aim is to help every citizen become safe and confident in the digital world. For this, a free ‘National Digital Citizenship Test’ can be started for all people. This simple test can teach important things like Cyber Safety, secure digital payments, AI awareness, how to identify fake news, and how to behave responsibly online. People who pass the test can get a ‘Digital Maturity Score’ and a ‘Verified Digital Citizen’ badge. This badge can be linked with UPI, DigiLocker, Aadhaar-based apps and other digital platforms. This idea can greatly reduce cyber fraud, increase digital awareness, and make India the world’s first country where citizens are digitally certified. It will make Digital India stronger and more secure for the future.

The establishment of the Eighth Pay Commission is welcome. It is very important for the government to provide periodic pay-related benefits to retain talented employees. What are the targets that each department of the government should achieve in all matters within the next 10 years? We need to decide. Many public sector enterprises have closed down because targets were not set in the past. The Eighth Pay Commission is going to increase the salaries of government employees by a huge amount. Therefore, the government employees must fulfill the targets set by the government. If the government plans to create 5 crore permanent jobs within the next 10 years, all departments should work together to achieve it. The government is going to pay higher salaries than the private sector. Therefore, it is not wrong for the government to set targets for its employees as well. The objectives and targets of this Eighth Pay Commission
