Despite covering just 590 acres, Dharavi’s small-scale industries generate over $1 billion in annual revenue. This indicates that even compact areas, when harnessed efficiently, can deliver immense economic value. I humbly suggest that the government support the development of similar small industrial hubs across India, with proper infrastructure, planning, and facilities. Such hubs can 1)generate substantial employment opportunities. 2)Boost local and national manufacturing output.3) Transform underutilized or congested areas into productive economic centers. By ensuring these hubs are developed with adequate infrastructure and support, we can replicate Dharavi’s success safely and sustainably—turning small spaces into big growth, and advancing the vision of “Aatmanirbhar Bharat.”

It is sad that our fighter plane Tejas crashed during air show. We condole the loss of pilot in the tragic accident. It is disheartening that some people are joyous over it just for political reasons to put question mark over Make in India. These people do not want a sustainable Make in India in defense sector as they are used to imports. It is to be conveyed that the people who feel happy with our failures will not feel good for long as we are determined to make Atma Nirbhar Bharat and we will achieve this soon. We have done significant progress in making defense sector Atma Nirbhar. We shall not stop this with this accident. This accident shall be thoroughly investigated for any technical or human failures and any corrective actions shall be implemented in all other planes.

New 4 Labour Codes are notified. These are meant to widen the security cover to workers and ease of doing business for business entities. However, many unions affiliated to political parties are opposing these codes. It is to be noted that Mr Narayan Murthy has raised the issue of 996 working once adapted by China. Mr Murthy is the head of Infosys. Infosys is one of the largest employers in the IT sector. It is not known if he has already implemented this formula unofficially in Infosys. This is gross violation of existing labour laws in India. Such irresponsible statement is not expected from a top businessman. His statement can be misquoted by political parties and unions to oppose these 4 new codes. They may term these codes anti labour. Government shall dispel any such doubts of workers regarding dilutions in service conditions of workers.
