I request the government to consider merging India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) with the Post Office Savings Bank (POSB) to create one strong Postal Bank of India. A unified postal bank will improve rural banking, digital access, doorstep services, and financial inclusion. This reform can support Viksit Bharat 2047.
The Post Office has always been a symbol of trust for every Indian family, from villages to cities. By empowering this trusted institution with a single strong banking system, crores of people—especially the poor, elderly, and rural youth—will feel more secure and connected to India’s growth story.
