Dear Sir, considering the present-day LPG crisis, kindly announce to the society in your Mann Ki Baat speech on the 132nd edition, by reducing the usage of natural gas consumption (LPG) by eating 200 grams of Fire Free Food per person per day. GHG EMISSION (India): India produced in 2022-23, 265.61 million tons of vegetables and 118.13 million tons of fruits. In that, 47 million tons of vegetables and 28 million tons of fruits were wasted. The wasted perishable food items emit around 188 million tons of GHG. To minimize the wastage as well as to reduce the emission load, every individual must consume 200 grams of fruits and vegetables daily.

The average consumption of cooked food per person every day is one kilogram by consuming 75 grams of LPG. Nowadays, every individual is consuming 200 grams of Fire Free foods (sprouted, vegetables, and fruits), the preservation of LPG by a person, 15 grams per day, and the reduction in GHG emission is around 36 kg per year, which includes the emission load of transporting the cylinder from the source to end users. The 600 million urban population consumes 200 grams of fire-free food daily, and the reduction in GHG emissions is 21.6 million tons per year.
