3. Priority Mismatch: The younger generation often finds it difficult to take proper care of aging parents when career and family become the priority. Engaging professionals for this purpose does not feature among the priorities.
4. Old belief systems: India suffers from age-old perceptions about bread earners and often we see the men or women working well past their prime to provide for the family. When the time comes to take time off, home care is often kept under the Wraps.
5. Lack of understanding: The country loses points with caregiving solutions. It is important to understand that each patient is different and requires homecare routines customized to his/her specific needs.
With challenges, there is always hope at hand! Indian Govt Should be Commited in bringing the highest qualities of professional elderly care in the comfort at home.
