Modi ji, Pranam. Electrical connection is a very critical parameter for self employment across country. For village economy to prosper we must get faster electrical connection. However new conection wait time is 3 to 4 years if there is no pole near the land and appointed contractors by electrical boards charges are 25,000 per pole, which are on higher side. I was planning a small farm with nursery and bamboo processing unit but I was told that the expenses would be between 10 to 12 lakh for getting new connection which is around 500 meter from the nearest connection. However I do understand that, to give everyone a connection will put lot of financial burden on machinery. So it will help both government and the people is, that the immediate expenses are paid by consumer and which will be refunded in next few years like in case of other government schemes. This will help spéed up the self employment opportunities immensely to rural areas.
