There is a basic level of misunderstanding amongst pedestrians on road, which if addressed by you could change everyone's mindset. Most of the pedestrians on road think that rule as it applies to vehicles applies to them as well. I am talking about the simple task of which side of the road should one walk on. Since vehicles in India are driven on the left, people tend to think they too are meant to walk on the left with their back facing the oncoming traffic. Which leads to many accidents on the road involving pedestrians. Only if this misunderstanding could be corrected, it could save many lives on road. Simple act of walking on the right side margin of the road so that you can see the traffic coming from the opposite direction - is the only message that needs to be shared to clear people's misunderstanding and save lives
