Dear Modi Ji, Could you please spread awareness on this topic among farmers during Man ki baat. I have noticed that the farmers in India are using too much pesticides and chemicals. We should make people aware of harmful causes of chemicals and pollution. I have seen a lot of people with disabilities and cancer, especially in villages where agriculture is the primary occupation. They are the people who get exposed to these chemicals a lot. In kerala, there was a district called Kasargod where Cashew farming is the primary mean of living of a majority. They were using harmfull chemicals like endosulfan. But only recently, few years back the whole reality came to lime light. A majority of people in villages are born with disabilities. Most of the kids have deformed bodies or are born with retarded brains.Please have a look at the videos posted on youtube. How much huge compensation the govt provides, their disease and fate cannot be cured. Such things should never occur to anyone.

Dear Modi ji, My name is Ajith and i am from Kerala. I would like you to please raise this topics in next Man ki Baat. Plastics - Pollution due to plastics is becoming a major concern in India. A lot of people throw away plastic waste causing pollution to Soil and water. Rest of the people burn it releasing cancer causing chemicals to air. People do not have awareness about, How much damage they are doing to earth and themselves. Number of cancer patients is also growing at an alarming rate in India. Please advise people to avoid plastics and look for greener alternatives. We should spread awareness to people about this rather than later spending millions on projects like clean Ganga. States like Kerala is doing a good job by Shuchitwa mission by using women to collect plastic from every home at a nominal price of 50 rupees. It would be great it if you can call out this also. Every state should implement such things and collect back plastic and fine people who burn them.
