Ministry of Women & Child Development seeks entries that suggest content for an SMS campaign under the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Scheme to create awareness about the issue of declining child sex ratio, survival and celebration of the girl child, enabling her education and empowering her.

The scheme aims at coordinated and multi sectoral convergent action towards improving child sex ratio and promoting the value of girl child and highlighting the importance of empowering her education. A campaign like the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao should not only draw attention of the masses to a grave concern like declining child sex ratio but also lead to change of mindsets towards empowering daughters through education. The outcome is envisaged to ensure girls are born, loved and nurtured without discrimination, educated and raised to become empowered citizens of this country with equal rights and opportunities.

The winning SMSs will form a part of the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Campaign. The objective of this campaign is to celebrate and value the girl child and highlight the importance of education in empowering her.

The last date of submission is 30th November 2014.

The top 6 winning entries will be awarded Rs. 5,000/- each.

where will We find Mothers if more and more Daughters are killed in the Womb itself ! It's time to Book all Labs who indulge in sex determination very severely so that the male female child ratio gets rationalised to realistic level ! More and more female children should be encouraged to learn and get educated more and more . Because with education only this Social Evil can be controlled to some levels !

Face the truth: We are responsible for the deangerously declining sex ratio! Time to act: Be the change and give women the life they deserve. Let them grow, learn and be free. Don't keep our beautiful birds in cage. Give them wings to fly and they'll light up the sky! Be a responsible citizen and help India evolve with equality.

A well Educated girl will help to prosper your life whether you are a father or husband or any other! A educated girl have more scope over an uneducated girl as they can stand up by their own!!!

rashtra ko aage badhana hai to beti ko padhana hai. Ladki ki pragati desh ki unnati. Jagruk nagrik baniye or badkiyon ko bachaiye, padhaiye aur apni/desh unnati ka sahyogi banayiye. Mulgi shikli pargati jhali.

She makes the world around bright, but still strugles to see the light... with every girl child killed you kill a friend, wife, sister, mother and a daughter... But with every educated girl you get a full family educated ... choice is urs, create value for the 'Janani' or destroy her to loose everything. Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao, Purey Desh ka bhavishya Ujwal Banao.

Apne pairon par khara hona sikhao,apni ldai ldna sikhao,kandhon k bhoj ko halka banao,beti bachao beti padhao. Aao desh ko sashakt bnaein,duniya ko agge badhaein;chaliye milkar:beti bachaein,beti padhaun.
