IN is India’s Country Code Top Level domain (ccTLD). The Govt. of India delegated the operations of INRegistry to NIXI in 2004. The National Internet Exchange of India (NIXI) is a Not-for-Profit Company incorporated under section 25 of the Indian Companies Act, 1956, with an objective of facilitating improved internet services in the country. The INRegistry operates and manages India’s .IN ccTLD.

The INRegistry ensures operational stability, security and reliability of the .IN ccTLD. The INRegistry implements the policies of Department of Electronics and Information Technology, Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Government of India from time to time.

The last date of submission is 25th October, 2014.

The winning entry will be awarded a cash prize of Rs.50,000/-.

The logo has the National Emblem of India in the background. The .(dot) in the logo is represented by the "Ashoka Chakra". The letters "i" and "n" are colored in Saffron and Green respectively. They represent the National Flag of India.
