The National Internet Exchange of India (NIXI) is a Not-for-Profit Company incorporated under section 25 of the Indian Companies Act, 1956, with an objective of facilitating improved internet services in the country. The INRegistry operates and manages India’s .IN ccTLD.
The INRegistry ensures operational stability, security and reliability of the .IN ccTLD. The INRegistry implements the policies of Department of Electronics and Information Technology, Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Government of India from time to time.
