The goal of Swachh Bharat is to provide access for every person to:-
Sanitation facilities including Toilets, Solid and Liquid Waste Disposal Systems, and clean surroundings.
We have to achieve this by 2019 as a befitting tribute to Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi on his 150th Birth Anniversary.
Under Swachh Bharat Abhiyan (SBA), the Goal is now to make India Open Defecation Free (ODF) India by 2019 by construction of individual, cluster & community toilets; and villages will be kept clean, including through solid and liquid waste management through Gram Panchayats. The Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation, Govt. of India seeks entries for design a Logo for Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. The last date of submission is 19th September, 2014. The winning entry will be awarded a cash prize of Rs.50,000/-.

CONCEPT:Gandhi ji dream for Swachh Bharat.
I created Gandhi's face and glasses transformation in to plant as flower vase ( clean India) with great message to the world about India & Swachh Bharat.

In the logo, a hand represents to save water and recycle it. To save environment water is a primary thing to be clean. Swatchh bharat sundar bharat.

Litter bins at the boundaries indicates importance of solid waste management. The water body at the bottom reflects that apart from our domestic surroundings the rivers, lakes should be kept clean. Every household should have proper sanitation facilities which is shown through the drop like curvature. The tree that protrudes from within the mother "Earth", has branches of which we humans are a part. The sky blue background depicts that our surroundings must be clean as the sky appears to us.
