The goal of Swachh Bharat is to provide access for every person to:-
Sanitation facilities including Toilets, Solid and Liquid Waste Disposal Systems, and clean surroundings.
We have to achieve this by 2019 as a befitting tribute to Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi on his 150th Birth Anniversary.
Under Swachh Bharat Abhiyan (SBA), the Goal is now to make India Open Defecation Free (ODF) India by 2019 by construction of individual, cluster & community toilets; and villages will be kept clean, including through solid and liquid waste management through Gram Panchayats. The Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation, Govt. of India seeks entries for design a Logo for Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. The last date of submission is 19th September, 2014. The winning entry will be awarded a cash prize of Rs.50,000/-.

using tri color for nationality and the figure for a mass movement and showing the gathering and co-operation. saffron color shows excitement in people along with this mission. and tree rotating arrows for atmosphere cleanliness. white color showing peace in india without peace in india it cant be possible to have a beautiful and cultured india, third color green showing freshness of land and water. there elements courage, peace and labor will come in clean and beautiful india

This logo is a blue water drop surrounded by chain of hands. water drop represents cleanliness and purity while chain of hands shows recycling and people's participatory approach. Different colours of hands symbolize different colours of life resulting from clean surroundings.
