All citizens and stakeholders of Tirupati City are invited to participate in the essay writing competition on the Theme of Mera Sapno ka Shahar i.e. “Tirupati Nagaram – Naa Kalala Tirupati”.

Municipal Corporation Tirupati will use the inputs from the winning entries to develop the Vision and Sub-goals for the City Plan and preliminary idea of Smart Solutions and Area Based Developments. Essay can be written in English or Telugu.

Topic

The citizens are requested to present the essay on below topic

• Issues/needs of the city, possible solutions for these issues and priorities

Word Limit: Essay should be approximately 1000 words.

The Top 3 Essays will be awarded as:

1. For Students

a) 1st Prize - Rs 25,000/- (Twenty five thousand only)
b) 2nd Prize - Rs 15,000/- (Fifteen thousand only)
c) 3rd Prize - Rs 10,000/- (Ten thousand only)

2. For Others

a) 1st Prize - Rs 25,000/- (Twenty five thousand only)
b) 2nd Prize - Rs 15,000/- (Fifteen thousand only)
c) 3rd Prize - Rs 10,000/- (Ten thousand only)

1. Submit online at https://mygov.in
2. On Postal - Commissioner, Tirupati Municipal Corporation, Tirupati. Please mention on top of the cover as “SMART TIRUPATI – ESSAY WRITING COMPETITION”.

Terms and Conditions

1. Essay should cover the topic mentioned above and weightage shall be given to Creative, Innovative and Positive.

2. The Name of the Participant, Address, Category, Occupation, Age and Contact No., must be mentioned clearly on the top of the Essay.

3. Municipal Corporation Tirupati will evaluate the entries in each category and the TOP THREE ESSAYS will be awarded.

The Competition will close on 15th November, 2015.

Tirupati is suffering a lot with underground drainage system.the rainfall the drainage water is flowing on the roads & the traffic jams on the road & people are suffering a lot to walk on the roads. To avoid this problem the government want to take serious reaction to construct underground drainage system we are joining our hands to avoid this problem

to make tirupathi- the smart city,to overcome some problems like improve the educational institutions, and mainly maintain greenery in tirupathi.and another main problem is underground drainage water problem. now a days it is the main problem in tirupathi because in rainy days the drainage water will come on the roads.to improve tourism because it is the pilgrim centre and to control traffic.now a days traffic pollution is more.to improve recreation like parks, water world etc for children .

The intention of Central Govt. of India to make Tirupati as Smart City is a very great opportunity to Tirupati citizens to develop Tirupati. For this i would share some points to succeed the Tirupati Smart City 1) create clean and green atmosphere in around city 2) UDS Development 3) Drinking Water facility 4) widening of roads 5) Educational institutions are to be placed in out side of tirupati as to control traffic and create peace atmosphere to student to learn new things. etc.,

tirupathi is a very famous tourist place in world.we see many of the visitors visit through the tirupati many drainages are over flow in the roads because of that many are fall of ill health. in rainy season many drainages over flow and that drainage water comes into houses because of that many families suffered a lot.first we need to make our country clean it tends to made to be india clean and green. so we salute our nation but not culture of city.

We can control under ground drinage water some where we can avoid accedents & infections also.that water we can purify and use as drinking water. following this way we avoid water scarcity

I voted to make my city was to became the smart city, my dream city tirupathi was the pilligrim city and developed by the basis of the basis of the tirumala lord venkatasha temple, my dream city tirupathi was have many problems to clear like the drainage system, not proper roads, transport facility, pollution, illigal properties, occuping poor people lands etc., i voted to create a new tirupathi as a smart city, so city people kept their effort to make the city as smart city,it is kind request.
