Ministry of Panchayati Raj seeks entries for proposing an innovative name, designing a logo and defining a tagline for an upcoming scheme of the Ministry. The scheme would deal with steps/ measures to improve the ‘Quality of Life' in the villages.
The scheme targets towards taking steps/ measures to improve the ‘Quality of life’ for the residents of a village.
The aim of the scheme is that Gram Panchayats may identify their ‘Village Formation Day’ and make it a catalytic event for improving the ‘Quality of Life’ in villages.
The scheme would enable Gram Panchayats to:
i. Assess the situation of their village(s) as per ‘Quality of Life’ indicators (related to sanitation, health, education, infrastructure like roads/pucca streets, power, communication facilities, e-services etc.)
ii. Set annual targets to bring improvements in these indicators each year.
iii. Take up activities to achieve the targets throughout the year and monitor progress.
iv. Review performance every year on ‘Village Formation Day’, formulate new strategies as needed, and take appropriate action(s).
The last date of submission is 30th November, 2014.
The winning entry will be awarded Rs. 10,000/-

NAME of the scheme:jaivik gunvatta badhaayein daivik gram paayein
Brief Description: The scheme proposes to improve the quality of life of people in villages, by means of cleanliness, provision of good healthcare and education, basic amenities like electricity, e-suvidha and the like. When we have achieved all of these in our villages, our villages will be delightful places to live in, god-like abodes that one may have dreamt of sometime in life.

Sujalam- Here its reflect, everyone will get clean and hygienic water which is major basic need / right of every human being. Sufalam- Here it’s very broad meaning, everyone will get fruitful results for every basic needs, effort, planning, hope and demand as well as program and schemes of government.

Respected sir, "सर्वगुणसम्पन्न ग्राम योजना" can be the suitable name for this proposed scheme to improve the quality of life in villages. सर्वगुणसम्पन्न ग्राम in sanskrit means - "a village gifted with every good quality".
