This task requires you to invest time with the local community in explaining how they can access digital technology and services for their benefit. E.g., banking services, government services, training programs, use of social media, etc.

Digital disparity is a stark reality in our country. We have to educate our fellow citizens on how to access and use digital technologies and services for their personal benefit and for the greater good of society. This task will require you to impart digital knowledge and to understand what it takes to make digital services usable and useful to the common man.

मैं भारत सरकार के राजभाषा विभाग में हिन्दी शिक्षण योजना के अंतर्गत हिन्दी प्राध्यापक हूँ। हमारी ड्यूटी केंद्र सरकार के लोगों को हिन्दी का प्रशिक्षण देना है लेकिन कंप्यूटर में हिन्दी में काम कैसे करें, इसका भी प्रशिक्षण 3 वर्षों से मैं दे रहा हूँ । इसमें कंप्यूटर पर हिन्दी के काम के साथ कंप्यूटर द्वारा अन्य सुविधाओं की भी जानकारी दी जाती है। इसकी जानकारी राजभाषा की वेबसाइट पर दी जाती है। अभी वर्ष 2014-2015 के प्रशिक्षण की जानकारी उपलब्ध है । राजभाषा की वेबसाइट की देखभाल एनआईसी ही करती है ।

I am a computer science engineer and I have started this task from my family. I belong to a joint family in which except my siblings and cousins, my mother, grandmother, grandfather, father and aunties don't know how to use digital technologies. I am trying to impart my knowledge to them that they can take even basic use of these technologies. And make use of them that they can make easy their tasks and aware of new technologies.

I trained my father and mother who have no knowledge about electronic communication. Just about bank transactions, mails and browsing internet. After that I trained by neighborhood.
