This task requires you to invest time with the local community in explaining how they can access digital technology and services for their benefit. E.g., banking services, government services, training programs, use of social media, etc.

Digital disparity is a stark reality in our country. We have to educate our fellow citizens on how to access and use digital technologies and services for their personal benefit and for the greater good of society. This task will require you to impart digital knowledge and to understand what it takes to make digital services usable and useful to the common man.

I have used the internet and the available free softwares to teach. I am willing to do this on a larger scale. I have concrete plans to make this into a national habit, and would be looking for a team. That would speed things up.

I'm a computer science student and I'm trying my best to let them know (who are not familiar with this digital world) what's the advantage of modern technology and how they can use it...My grandma asked me how does internet work?? I told her in a simple way. even she was able to understand what is circuit switching and what is packet switching!! Nowadays she spends lots of time on facebook just to stay in touched with me. As I live away from my home town.

I can provide my services to mentor such initiatives-Train the trainer. I have sufficient place and commuters at my village and could be used to train community members. We have to involve young and old generation side by side to benefit out of this initiatives. The experience of old generation and tech savvy nature of youth has to be understood properly, encouraged and motivated.
