LED lights can be much more cheaper than what is being offered today...the manufacturers are taking advantage of the relatively new technology, by pretending it as a complicated one, just to keep the prices high... The Govt should consider providing LED bulbs to all households free-of-cost...It won't be a loss to the Govt, as It will drastically reduce the power demand and save several Crores in additional power generation costs...

First I bring to your notice the picture depicted here is tungsten to cfl not an LED light itself For Making The right move towards LED promote Manufacturing of LED Lights at lower cost.....And Make campaingns and ads of the benefits like low current ....long durability and lesser temperature ....Initially make it in public places like street lights ....parks ...which will make them easily conveyed to the people ..... Even EB Can give some discount for the homes fully equipped with lED

generate the awareness programmes and start the make in india programme with led bulbs manufacturing this will considerably reduce the cost as the people dont have that awareness about the usage of led.vigorous campaign by the govt is required and implement it first in all government organisations.there by taking the first lead and then took it forward

Govt. Should help the led companies to produce less price of LED. I experienced that most of the people who are BPL used the old harmful red light in their home which is not provide for their health. Government should do campaign for these people to understand them for using LED light. Government should also help them to buy that.

#Suggestions: ☆LED lights must be available in low prices. ☆Should be made in India(Will help for employment and Made in India initiative.) ☆Its our responsibility to conserve energy, switching off lights/Fans when not necessary.(Irrespective of LED or other lights!) ☆LED consume less energy, but costy; But buying other lamp/light consume more energy though at low prices(It's like temporary benefit but long time loss) -Tell ur friends about the same. -LED→Light Emitting Diode.

LED lights are having skyrocketing prices at the moment. The govt. should first attempt to decrease the rates of these LED lights. Govt. should also involve NGOs like Greenpeace India, to achieve this dream.

If GOVT want to accelerate adoption of led lights then india is mostly medium class families so led is not effordable to families, so company have to reduce price so everyone get it like cfl bulb so led use will be accelerate. Make it compulsory to all big companies or business centre where they must use led bulb so electricity will be save more because much used by bug companies and business centre.

Mere adoption of led light should not be the focus. The light bulb sold should be of good quality as well. For e.g. bulbs from companies like Eveready are costly but they give the lumens per watt as promised where as bulbs from some of the companies are very bad in this matter. There should be standards set for the bulbs that are sold as led bulbs. These bulbs can also be offered to customers on installment basis where they pay for the bulbs on monthly basis along with their electricity bills.

Average effecinecy of thermal power plant ranges from 35-40%.This effeciency of plant can be raised by a device called "Thermo Couple ".It converts heat energy into electrical energy. So it is kept on the hot chimney of thermal plant then heat of smoke can be utilised in the form of thermo emf which is producer and effeciency increases and demand of coal decreases.
