you connect with all the school boards and univerity boards. Ask them to encourage their institutes on saving resources. In a step to save energy and resources ask them to use the LED Ligts in office, libraries, hostel etc Connect with all the brands like BIG BAZAAR, RELIANCE FRESH, SAHARA etc to sell it in market. Add offers like discount or free goodies.

There r many PSU in the field of Electronics, Why cant we engage them in manufacturing LED Lights or regulate the price band for LED as a mission for 3 years . In this span of 3 years items can't be sold beyond defined rates. and within these three years all existing lights need to be changed to LED. This will decrease the overall consumption and load on power production will also decrease. We must understand we don't follow till we are force under time bound activity..

LED lights are not affordable for a common man in India. Even if they are more ecofriendly , they have few draw backs like high cost and damage of LEDs due to fluctuations. So we have to find a way out and solve to problem faced due to LED. If we could guarantee an LED light for a life long usage without any problems then every one could buy it irrespective to its costs.

The prices of the LED lights are much costlier than the ordinary bulbs. As an ordinary bulb costs just Rs.10 per bulb in the market, whereas the LED lights costs at least Rs.100 per Bulb in the market. If the prices of the LED lights could be brought to Rs.20-30 per Bulb, than it will be possible for a household to adopt himself from ordinary Bulb to LED lights. The LED lights should be strongly recommended in the various tenders passed by the Government, as the Government can afford these lights

Private and public companies should encourage their employees to use LED bulbs, even if it means to spend some amount on their own. Big companies can well absorb and afford this one off money for nation building. Giving 2 LED to each employee this Diwali can be effective way. People buy LED and company can reimburse amount for 2 LED on showing original bill.

Few Suggestions 1) Delhi idea was very good; Giving LED bulbs in low cost upfront and then charging 10 rs/pm in electricity bill. It should be available in all other states. 2) Companies should not be allowed to make heftier profits. It should be made affordable. 3) Large scale LED manufacturing should be put in place, there is no point going for LED which is made in China. If we go for Made in India, it will provide job opportunities for many people

Use of LEDs should be made mandatory in all Central/State Government and Private Offices. Cost of LEDs should be matched Vs savings cost of electricity. In Government Quarters(GPRA), LED should be provided by CPWD while allotting quarters. Recovery may be made through Licence Fee every month. For eg. One room quarters Rs.10 and 5 room quarters Rs. 50. For general public,Discoms should provide LED Bulbs and monthly emi deduction from bills and graph of savings should be provided in the bill.

Also the most famous commercial institutions in all the cities must have at least 50% of their lighting done with LED and they should advertise in their premises on the usage of LED. A campaign or drive with the help of social media should be initiated with the statistics on power saved from LED lighting. All the TV channels should advertise in the local language the benefits of LED lighting for 10 seconds every 1 hour on the usage of LEG lighting during the peak hour as well as during holidays.
