Pondicherry Electricity Board issued one LED Bulb for each domestic connection and received 3 incandescent lamp in return from the consumers. This is a good way to create awareness for LED lights. Apparently Make India policy should be encourage more for these products to reduce the cost and then all these traditional lighting systems to be banned and should be out of production.

Electrical companies and Govt should think over highly efficient alternative of FAN/Cooler and ACs. LED lighting can save only 10% .
