Section 161 of Railway act indicates “If any person driving or leading a vehicle is negligent in crossing an unmanned level crossing, he shall be punishable with imprisonment which may extend to one year.”

Section 131 of the Motor Vehicle Act indicates that “Every driver of a motor vehicle at the approach of any unguarded railway level crossing shall cause the vehicle to stop and the driver of the vehicle shall cause the conductor or cleaner or attendant or any other person in the vehicle to walk up to the level crossing and ensure that no train or trolley is approaching from either side and then pilot the motor vehicle across such level crossing, and where no conductor or cleaner or attendant or any other person is available in the vehicle, the driver of the vehicle shall get down from the vehicle himself to ensure that no train or trolley is approaching from either side before the railway track is crossed”

However due to non-following of relevant rules by the road users, many accidents are occurring resulting in loss of precious life  at unmanned level crossings.

Suggest solutions for reducing accidents at unmanned level crossings.

There are so many peoples are waiting in a long que in front of the counter of PRADHAN MANTRI JAN DHAN YOJANA.the step for joining them with financial inclusion is very good but you have to provide them a proper way to open their own account without facing any problem.

Sir Is it possible to check the cleaniness of train's toilets at originating station. A toll free no. is to be written in each boggie for the passenger to lodge a complain/suggestion through SMS. I was depressed to see the horrible condition of the toilets of 12394 Sampoornkranti Exp.at New Delhi Rly,Stn. on 28 Dec14 .The train was staying for 6 hrs. at the station. The effect of change of Govt. must be visible.

I was just watching interview with Mr Suresh Prabhu, Hon'ble Rail Minister. One thing that came up was how to get revenue to make better railways and to invest in various initiatives. I want to suggest to get more and more ads, we can even get this to private organization like ad agencies to manage. I went to Tokyo Japan and saw the trains there... they had ad posters all over. I was not able to find any place where ad banners were not there... so we shd work towards increasing ad revenue.

Sir, why can't railway tickets issued at the reservation counters bear the name of all the passenger's. This will help eradicate corruption and black marketing of railway tickets
