Section 161 of Railway act indicates “If any person driving or leading a vehicle is negligent in crossing an unmanned level crossing, he shall be punishable with imprisonment which may extend to one year.”

Section 131 of the Motor Vehicle Act indicates that “Every driver of a motor vehicle at the approach of any unguarded railway level crossing shall cause the vehicle to stop and the driver of the vehicle shall cause the conductor or cleaner or attendant or any other person in the vehicle to walk up to the level crossing and ensure that no train or trolley is approaching from either side and then pilot the motor vehicle across such level crossing, and where no conductor or cleaner or attendant or any other person is available in the vehicle, the driver of the vehicle shall get down from the vehicle himself to ensure that no train or trolley is approaching from either side before the railway track is crossed”

However due to non-following of relevant rules by the road users, many accidents are occurring resulting in loss of precious life  at unmanned level crossings.

Suggest solutions for reducing accidents at unmanned level crossings.

And thus we can make more people use trains. If only public transfer is easy and cheap then more people will use it and less traffic will be on roads.

As we all know there is a huge rush during the pick up timings. There are many people who travel by train daily. If we increase the no of trains during the pickup hours, there will be less rush and people can travel convienantly. We need more ladies compartment in each train. And each train should have attendants so all people who travel by train specially female feel safe and secure. If the train journey will be cheap, easy, convienant and fast then more people will travel by train.

We have seen lots of accident at Unmanned Level Crossing. In my opinion if Indian Railway construct some Rail over bridge for vehicle and seal that railway track area in such a way that even a bicycle cant cross that railway track. Then we will find some less accident.

Cellphone call rates are to be same for all networks. It depends user to decid which network good for use in day to day works but call rates must be same or net surching facilities may arranged to choose. Also this may reduce maintaining more than one sim. Other wise make aadhar no as sim nos. To reduce crims and persons maintain more than one sims.

This is regarding increasing the Speed of Trains with changes in current structure. 1. Increase the width of cement railroad tie from existing size to double/triple. I mean the current size of tie is about 1 feet in width which can be increased to 2-3 feet. With good quality of prestressed concrete tie and increasing the width it will have superior grip. 2.Investing in heavier rails. The heavier the rails and the rest of the track-work, the heavier and faster the trains the track can carry.
