Section 161 of Railway act indicates “If any person driving or leading a vehicle is negligent in crossing an unmanned level crossing, he shall be punishable with imprisonment which may extend to one year.”

Section 131 of the Motor Vehicle Act indicates that “Every driver of a motor vehicle at the approach of any unguarded railway level crossing shall cause the vehicle to stop and the driver of the vehicle shall cause the conductor or cleaner or attendant or any other person in the vehicle to walk up to the level crossing and ensure that no train or trolley is approaching from either side and then pilot the motor vehicle across such level crossing, and where no conductor or cleaner or attendant or any other person is available in the vehicle, the driver of the vehicle shall get down from the vehicle himself to ensure that no train or trolley is approaching from either side before the railway track is crossed”

However due to non-following of relevant rules by the road users, many accidents are occurring resulting in loss of precious life  at unmanned level crossings.

Suggest solutions for reducing accidents at unmanned level crossings.

sir the toll roads from udaipur to chittorgarh in rajasthan are in very bad shape. Low floor vechiles get damaged due to bumps in road. One is national highway 76 and both the roads attract good amount of toll tax. i request you to kindly ask the concern authorities to look into the grievances and get these roads repaired

Railway freight must be reduced due to falling oil. Rai's must regain their lost position of being the biggest transporters, in Natl interest. The delays in delivery, destruction of goods, due to corruption/inefficiency of employees, can be overcome by outsourcing the freight management & holding the employees accountable. Rai's land/resources may be used for planting Jatropha (BioFuel), & imp. trees, & building shopping mall/hotels, internet, on platforms, to earn revenue.

Hon'ble prime minister sir, I am arunendra singh student of civil engineering from Bhopal. I want to suggest my concept regarding "cleanliness on railway stations in platforms". We can provide pressure taps at platforms(concrete platforms), as the train leaves from platform. The valve can be opened and through water pressure all waste things can be drained easily and this process can be repeated. This is perfect concept regarding our "swaccha bharat abhiyan". I hope you will thing on my concept

I request my government to make possible flyovers on the railway tracks, to install fencing around the tracks. I would like to request to install English seats in trains. The railway department should issue tickets of general coach according to the number if seats. The conditions of general coach is pathetic! thank you, i hope the concerned authorities would concentrate on my problems!
