Section 161 of Railway act indicates “If any person driving or leading a vehicle is negligent in crossing an unmanned level crossing, he shall be punishable with imprisonment ...

Section 161 of Railway act indicates “If any person driving or leading a vehicle is negligent in crossing an unmanned level crossing, he shall be punishable with imprisonment which may extend to one year.”

Section 131 of the Motor Vehicle Act indicates that “Every driver of a motor vehicle at the approach of any unguarded railway level crossing shall cause the vehicle to stop and the driver of the vehicle shall cause the conductor or cleaner or attendant or any other person in the vehicle to walk up to the level crossing and ensure that no train or trolley is approaching from either side and then pilot the motor vehicle across such level crossing, and where no conductor or cleaner or attendant or any other person is available in the vehicle, the driver of the vehicle shall get down from the vehicle himself to ensure that no train or trolley is approaching from either side before the railway track is crossed”

However due to non-following of relevant rules by the road users, many accidents are occurring resulting in loss of precious life  at unmanned level crossings.

Suggest solutions for reducing accidents at unmanned level crossings.

Why can't we disable the mobile signals nearer to the unmanned level crossing and make it a no signal area. So that the person who crosses it will have less distraction.

Sub:-Man ki baat about DBTL My opinion is,PAN CARD holder who purchase LPG cylinder without any subsidy upto twelve cylinders in a year will be allowed Income Tax examtion for total cost paid by the consumer as like HBL Interest in a financial year.

In Railways,for a change,the next budget may not include any new train .Funds be provided only for connecting all ports with each other and with nearest existing stations to complete total gap-filling during 2015.Also carrying tracks to all operative and ready mines should be priority for completing in 2015 itself. Spend rest of money for making coaches and wagons to overcome shortage of supplies to power stations and to clear ports at once as in advanced countries,

रेलवे प्लेटफार्मों को सुरक्षित अपराधमुक्त एवं साफसुथरा बनाने हेतु कुछ सुझाव प्रदान कर रहा हूं यदि इन पर अमल किया जाए तो भारतीय रेल के प्लेटफार्म भी अन्तर्राष्ट्रीय स्तर के हो सकते हैं...१. प्लेटफार्म टिकट की बिक्री सीमित की जावे, एक यात्रा टिकट पर एक प्लेटफार्म टिकट दिया जावे.२. प्लेटफार्म के चारों ओर फेन्सिंग हो जिससे अनधिकृत व्यक्ति एवं जानवरों का प्रवेश रोका जा सके.३.गैर लाइसेंस शुदा वेंडरों को कड़ाई से रोका जावे.४. यात्रा में लगेज ले जाने की लिमिट का कड़ाई से पालन किया जाय. धन्यवाद्।

Sir, In Mumbai, at all the Rly. Crossings, there is system that when the train is likely to come within few minutes, alarm start sounding till the train passes the crossing. Secondly, there should be speakers installed on all such crossings and when the train is likely to pass, the nearby station master should announce of the same 5 minutes in advance of passing of train. If such arrangement is made, the no. of accidents may reduce drastically.

प्रधानमंत्रीजी हमारे देश मे लोगो को जनरल बोगी मे बैठने की जगह भी नही मिलती इसका प्रमुख कारण ट्रेन कम होना नही बल्कि जनरल बोगिया कम होना हे तथा बोगियो मे फेली अव्यवस्था हे हमारे देश मे अभी भी अंग्रेज़ो के स्टाइल वाली जनरल बोगिया चल रही हे इन मे सबसे बड़ी दिक्कत किसी यात्री की कोई फिक्स सीट नही होती हे . इन बोगीयो को बंद करके जनशताब्दी एक्सप्रेस वाली बोगिया हर ट्रेन मे लगानी चाहिए इससे हर यात्री को अपनी एक सीट मिल सकेगी . हर यात्री अपनी एक सीट पर बेतकर यात्रा कर सकेगा. और हमे एक एसी व्यवस्था स्थापित करनी चाहिए जिससे करेंट आरक्षण मिल सके इन बोगियो का.

sir now IRCTC server is so fast so there is no requirement to block agents for 4 hours (2 hours for opening date ticket and 2 hours for tatkal ticket). As mostly ticket booked within 30 minitues , so remove these restriction ,railway is also loosing heavy money due to this provision change time of opening 8.00 am at tatkal 9.00 am and start 10 00 all booking for agents and new counters given in private also.

sir in indian train TTE is most corrupted person ,who effect to general public , railway is also loosing heavy amount due to TTE curruption ,as if penalty amount become rs 1000 they take rs 500 without any receipt so railway loosing heavy money and TTE becoming millionaire.

sir make indian train like dubai metro minimum staff maximum beneficial to public and govt only project cost is heavy but give in ppp model so it is possible to do.
