Section 161 of Railway act indicates “If any person driving or leading a vehicle is negligent in crossing an unmanned level crossing, he shall be punishable with imprisonment which may extend to one year.”

Section 131 of the Motor Vehicle Act indicates that “Every driver of a motor vehicle at the approach of any unguarded railway level crossing shall cause the vehicle to stop and the driver of the vehicle shall cause the conductor or cleaner or attendant or any other person in the vehicle to walk up to the level crossing and ensure that no train or trolley is approaching from either side and then pilot the motor vehicle across such level crossing, and where no conductor or cleaner or attendant or any other person is available in the vehicle, the driver of the vehicle shall get down from the vehicle himself to ensure that no train or trolley is approaching from either side before the railway track is crossed”

However due to non-following of relevant rules by the road users, many accidents are occurring resulting in loss of precious life  at unmanned level crossings.

Suggest solutions for reducing accidents at unmanned level crossings.

**MISC.** Contd. From Posts of 19th January on "NGOs". Surely shocking to learn that about 90% of 22 Lakh NGOs do not file mandatory returns about spending of funds got as grants from the State and / or Central Governments, which, indirectly implies about the performance of their activities during the period for which the return becomes due. It is by all means negation of vow of social service. HENCE, THERE NEEDS SOME MECHANISM IN PLACE TO SEE TO IT THAT AN NGO MUST FILE MANDATORY RETURN.

Inside our plant many unmanned level crossngs are there and many accidents happened in past. We cant deploy manpower to maintain gate system there. Simple solution to this problem is that we have provided solar powered traffic signals with proximity switch and a powerful hooter. these switches can be fitted around 200 away in both dirctn to detect train approach before train arrl automtclly these hooter will loudly sound and prevnt accdnts these r vry much robust low cost and effctv soln

RFID based tracking over a km away on both sides with RFID in the engines as well which when the reader picks up will buzz alarm at level crossing and have a signal. However, even with the best of technology it is important the people are disciplined and effort should be made to educate people who regularly use unmanned level crossing similar on lines of graphics at Mumbai used to dissuade track crossing

Rashter ko "BHIKHARION" ke abhishap se mukat karne ke liey inn sabhi ka "NUSBANDI" aur "NALBANDI" kar diya jana bahut zaroori hai. Inke saath kisi kisam kie koi bhi riayat kie darker nahin, be-shak veh Bhagwa-Veshdhari bhi kyon na hon, aaise bhikharion ke mobile's bhi tatkal band kar diey jane chahieyn.

Create high bumber before the unmanned crossing level will reduse the speed level of motor vehicles. The speedy entrance of vehicle is the major cause of the level crossing accident. The alcoholic driving is the main cause major accident. Collect the mobile phone numbers of all drivers and send awareness message of the accidents as a message of our PM

Railway station ko aisa design krna chahiye ki 1 entrance door aur 1 exit door ho. Entrance krne k liye passenger ko ek automatic box se jana ho Jha uski Lazer scanning aur x-ray scanning ho aur Usi box mein ek scanner ho jo uska ticket scan krega aur entry allow krega. Agar aisa ho jaye to Koi passenger without ticket journey nhi kar skega aur Bina kisi mushkil k railway ka kam bhi aasan ho jayega
