The country is well endowed with many metallic and non-metallic mineral resources.  India is a leading player in respect of many non fuel minerals including, iron ore, bauxite, dolomite, lime stone and mica.  Mining sector (non-fuel) currently accounts for approx 0.5% of GDP.  For accelerated economic growth on sustainable basis, this sector has to grow at a much faster pace to secure   a higher percentage in the GDP.

Scientific, sustainable and transparent mining practices require well trained manpower.  Skill development not only enhances productivity and safety at work place, but more importantly, it prepares the manpower to adapt to the new state of art technologies. Currently this sector employs around 0.2 Million workforce which is estimated to grow to 0.3 Million in next 10 years.

Even after making internship mandatory, majority doesn't meet the required skill set, there is serious need to make every individual realize the importance of internship and the practical training and that is only possible after strict evaluation of post training learning.

As Our Indian railway is life line of our country, we need very effective & quick improvement in service of railways. One suggestion is why we are not using COOLIES ( porters ) for betterment for them and for the services they can provide instead of inhuman loading / unloading luggage. They are the best informed person on the railway paltform so they can serve as TRAINED MOVING HELPDESK for the passengers and loading / unloading can be done by installing escalators & trolly etc. as IN AIRPORTS

class room education is the foundation which is required to develop any kind of skill, but yes the excellence in the same skill can only be developed with the help of practical exposure, and in India we seriously lack with the mindset of making serious training the part of curriculum, even if the candidate goes through the training the majority is still not, what industry desires and ultimately they don't add significant productivity.

@PMOIndia, @narendramodi, Sir after becoming PM you have given/sanction so many funds to state/central govt agencies. But you don't know how much money from this will be corrupted by any way. To control & proper utilization of funds you need to implement use of unique id only through PMO to all Indians / business/pvt / govt sectors & link it with all our day to day work.

There are many people in INDIA who can do work, but don't know what/how to do, in order to strengthen India.., 1) Every college should have a Entrepreneur Development Cell [EDC] and provide all the information regarding. 2) Training to be provided in the field of Ethical Hacking, Embedded systems, Web designing, SEO and other IT courses. 3) Company should open under Govt.- Private partnership in order to make sure, the company stays atleast for 15years and then full handover to private.
