The Prime Minister shared a visionary approach to transform the development journey of our villages in the form of the Saansad Adarsh Gram Yojana. The initiative calls upon MPs to select a village in their constituency and make it a Model Village by 2016. Furthermore, the number of model villages should increase as time progresses so that in a decade a large number of villages become Model Villages across India.

The rationale behind a landmark idea such as this is clear- India lives in the villages and India will only progress when our villages progress. Development of villages can happen best when everybody walks shoulder to shoulder and contributes towards the comprehensive development of the village. And who better than the local Members of Parliament to drive this change!

This specially created forum on MyGov invites out of the box ideas on how the Saansad Adarsh Gram Yojana can become the driving force in bringing a qualitative difference in our villages. Lets make the development of our villages a grand mass movement and together create a golden future for rural India.

Cont .... 3. The land in chamble, Naksalite area, in Rajasthan is west & no use. The industries should get opportunity to acquire such land via government initially free to grow that area. It will creat the job for that area & no terrorist will created in this area if they get bread & butter.

every MP should ensure that there is no squatters, encroachment in his constituency. Convert squatters to leaseholders and MPLAD should be used to make small shops and generate revenue. Make sanitation part of rural development thru people's participation. Ensure there is only one agency for related work. RWA should work closely with MP to achieve the objective. Open school park for village children. Village school Mid day meal by students mother's group for inclusive growth.

A huge gobar plant should be established in the village. That should be maintained by particular gram panchayath. All gobar, waste, crop waste etc should be put in to that plant. This has to be done by villagers as well as gram panchayat. From that plant we can produce electricity as well as cooking gas and the same will distributed to all the houses of that village.

There are major three important areas where government need concentration. 1. Farming, 2. education, 3. Open land acquisition like in Chamble, Rajasthan, etc. 1. Due to machines farming will be interesting to educated generation, so he will remain in rural to grow own farming & no need to search job in cities. it will enable the rural area to grow. 2. Education system is not good & need improvement in practical education so every student will fit for industry.

My humble suggestion to the Hon,ble PM and his team is :- 1. Alongwith developing 100 mega cities, 1000 villages also should be developed. Indian Villages are backbone of our Nation and Economy. For cities there will be many volunteers for PPP model. For developing Villages only Govt will have to take the initiative. 2. There should be minimum one school, one hospital(or health centre with a doctor) and one small scale or medium industry in every village.
