The girl child today faces inequality and gender based discriminations even before birth. The nation cannot move forward unless women are given opportunity to realize their full potential and contribute to nation building.

Given this context, please share your thoughts, ideas, suggestions and feedback on how we can change the discriminatory social construct in order to celebrate the girl child. What should be our communication strategy for improving the situation and reach out to people?

sir, all things are depend on education if knowledge is spread all over urban and rural then girl child are not killed in worm because educated parent do not make difference and they are capable to full fill demand of their children and they also send their child to school either they are girl or boy and give lesson to become a good citizen of India.

In our India females are not safe, for their security we have different helpline numbers and groups but they are not so effective. Also, in regard to increasing number of crime agains't females in India and specially in UP i would like to suggest if we can have Kiran Bedi as CM of UP instead of Delhi or any other state we can get good results. Although CM candidature is party decision and issue but i request our prime minister to look upon this.

continue... That person will be selected by that 50 families and if she/he doesn’t work than they can replace that person with another. That person should be young so that she/he can take action quickly. This can even help us in employment…suppose a person is not getting job, she/he will get job within some period than he can be selected as the leader in that 50 families. And those 50 families will provide some money to that person say Rs.200 per family.

continue... She/he will hold meeting of these 50 families in one or two week. And he/she will discuss the problem that cannot be solved without government and that problem will be put in front of government and that person can put pressure on the government to solve their problems like roods, primary schools, etc. In this way government will act and solve their problems soon.
