Pl.Visit: http://letscareforeducation.blogspot.in/ This blog is the reminder to humanity that curiosity is the engine if education is the vehicle."Every child is a born artist, the problem is to remain artist as they grow up"Picasso correctly quoted.Einstein said not to judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree.We just can't stand here and watch everything these great people stood for destroyed by our schooling system. Are you with me on the journey to remind the world what true education is?

Instead of teaching origami, guitar, etc, students should be encouraged to learn Indian arts and crafts. For example, teach Rogan painting of Gujarat or Gongadi weaving of Telangana may be taught. This will:- 1.Create employment for artists 2.Lead to revival of the art form 3.Promote creativity in students

Concentrate on PROBLEM PREVENTING VALUES(PPVs).For example, rape is due to patriarchal attitude. This can be solved by imparting PPVs like gender equality rather than govt stressing on tougher laws, punishments.Gender equality can be imparted by 1.Training teachers, parents to not use sexist language 2.Chapters on gender equality 3.Girls should be encouraged to become school leaders 4.Show videos, dramas about equality 5.Hang a woman freedom fighter's portrait along with that of Gandhiji.

As part of Maths , some topics to be introduced about basics of financing eg- credit, debit, savings, what is Money, how to handle it, how it impacts life. this will have to be done in forms of interesting lessons / story. Most indians are poor financial planners, hence these are required at appropriate stage of school. At college there should be some compulsory credits on course on personal financial management.

thanks for creating this platform for growth our nation -: in my opinion extra curricular activities should increase at school level like art, physical, music and many more because in this fields there is bright future and if we talking about books study only so, sorry to say in our country more unskilled, less knowlegable teachers are more their concertrations only their salaries not students. so that thing should provide to students which they enjoy and grow instead of only books burden.

The basics of First-Aid, Traffic Rules, Moral Science and Civics must be taught in schools. Time spent on History and Geography can be reduced, and Algebra can be scrapped.

Education Policy should envisage: Transforming individuals into assets and not liabilities for society, in ways their mental & material conditions permit. Courses from primary to PG should have exit points, where students can opt to leave, with certificates, fit to serve in public at different levels. Extra-curricular activities with different educative programs should be given more weightage so that students who are not good at studies do not feel frustrated to become liabilities.
