The move is in response to the Information and broadcasting ministry’s letter to TRAI, wherein the regulator was asked for its recommendation on reserve prices for auction of radio frequencies in the third batch of phase III auctions.
As per Phase-III policy guidelines, reserve price for new channels in existing FM Phase-II cities was fixed as the highest bid price received for that city in Phase-II.

Investing on business will be profitable than investing on goods. To promote this, all profitable companies should increase their investments and people who have good business knowledge should bring it on a district radio this will help the people to invest smartly. Government should also encourage homemade thing by building proper outlets and export facility

Firstly there is a several important points made but the preference would be that revenues generated from the auction process are incidental to larger objectives.FM radio will help enhance economic activity.the reserve prices formula used for phase-2 cities is flawed.the downside risks of a low reserve price are very limited. As for fixing reserve prices the reserve price don't need to be inflation indexed.if any thing,RP in FM radio should go down with time, not UP.
