The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB) sent a reference dated 22nd August 2019, seeking recommendations of TRAI on reserve prices for 283 cities (260 new + 23 existing), under FM Phase-III Policy.

Accordingly, this Consultation Paper has been prepared to seek the comments/views of the stakeholders on the issues related to estimation of the reserve prices for auction of FM Radio channels.

As part of the consultative process, the Consultation Paper has been uploaded on the TRAI website. Written comments on the consultation paper are invited from the stakeholders by 6th November 2019. Counter-comments, if any, may be submitted by 13th November 2019.

RESPECTED P.M sir, initiated FM radio to citizens of India is very wonderful thought. FM radio introduce to all every end of villages of India. then villagers and all people will catchup easily government related and nation related news. THANKYOU SIR

नमस्कार हम केवल इतना जानते हैं एफएम पर आवाज बहुत अच्छी आती है डिस्टरबेंस कम होता है एफएम के द्वारा राजेंद्र शर्मा की आवाज एफएम तक पहुंच सकती है और एफएम की रिप्लाई राजेंद्र शर्मा को मिल सकता है और इस कम्युनिकेशन यानी टू ले कम्युनिकेशन की जानकारी जो भी है फेम्को सुनता है वह पा सकता है यह दूरी कम्युनिकेशन जितना अधिक हो उतना इसका फायदा होगा क्योंकि हमने देखा है कि जब वन वे यानी डिक्टेटरशिप का भान होता है टू वे में प्रजातांत्रिक परी का इजाद होता है टू वे में टेक्नोलॉजी प्रत्येक नागरिक जान सकेगा

Dear PM sir, in FM radio play government sachems of poor people for pass all schemes details to all and introduce education related channel to all students(1st class to 10th class) for improve poor students education knowledge as well and good.

In india Radio was started at old era. That time it was useful for general people or farmers to people lives in cities. At this era even people of villeges has bought smart phones. The Radio channels should start some specific programs if they want to survive. At this time the most population is Students of scientific field so they should start programs about scientific topics. Auction of Radio channels will not be good because if it becomes private, it will start taking charge from people.

Dear PM sir, please introduce self employment news in FM radio. If can be introduced self employment news in FM radio, then many unemployed people and job seekers will be motivated from self employment news in FM radio and they will be settled in theyi interested fields as well and good.

Sir, As already mentioned by many people, FM radio is excellent media to reach public, more so if it can reach rural areas where it is more necessary, it can create a lot of awareness related to their farming, hygiene etc. More FM stations are necessary in rural sectors
