for the development and maintenance of Railway, my suggestion is that, any corporate brand may adopted any route of Railway, they will pay for cleaning and some part of the operating cost of that route, in the revert he may get internal and external branding for there products and also adding the name with train. for example LG sharmjive exp. or Muthoot Kerala exp., This will helpful to rise the revenue of the Railway. - Dinesh

make solar elevators(and make them drive on solar panel because of the potential of solar on roof of station) so that people prefer to go by elevators(specially useful for those who have heavy luggage with them)

Govt should think of making travel in train comfortable, "Rush" need to converted to opportunities. If they cannot do it, they should let innovators/business to solve that problem.

Govt should provide, Buy train ticket, get return air ticket free. Example:- Bangalore to delhi(by train) - 2000Rs. New fare:- Bangalore to delhi(by train) - 4000Rs, with return ticket in flight free(delhi to bangalore). 1. This will fill seat in loss making airlines. 2. This will give first timers to enjoy air travel. 3. Chance to clear waiting list in trains.

I like to share some thoughts re railway safety issues ...in order to protect any attack against trains during travel i feel if GOvt thinks to design a Sensor which is to be installed in front of Engine .....capable of sense any chemical / mines / bombs planted in railway track .at least within 1 to 1.5 km distance . For this there is need of a highly capable sensor which need to be installed in Front engine . >less...

Once the charting is done, the passenger is eligible for refund of ticket amount in case of filing TDR within some time of departure of train. However, in most of the cases, it is found that the TT allots the seat to someone others who has not booked ticket in lieu of some cash payments. The claim is repudiated. On complaining, no response is received from and the complaint stands as it is. No solution appears for the passenger. Some arrangement should be made to curb this illegitimate practice.

Country needs money for development of Rlys. You can do so by announcing either VDS(voluntary disclosure Scheme) or demonetise Rs.1000/500 notes. Black money will die natural death and you will enough money for improving health of Rlys. Corruption has swallowed too much money thro' corrupt people.

Indian Railways should welcome the passengers with the station's name along with the arrival/departure information. It is being highly inconvenient to come down from the upper berth at the midnight to know at which station the train has arrived .we can even do this without spending a single pie.

Indian Railways lack International Standards as per IRIS, the body for setting those standards. Also our railway sector is in shortage of 2 lakh crores to complete already existing projects.
