One of the possible solutions can be to have storage tanks instead of just discharging in open. But just this will not help, there have to be discharge locations. The one that can be created most easily is near some major stations on route, where trains can discharge the waste regularly. So its just store it till the next discharge point. This should be easier & feasible to implement.yeah how is somendras idea

The Govt. should restrict platform to be used for traveling only. There should be system like metro train platform. By doing this, we can keep the platform neat and clean. We daily see that beggars and dogs are roaming around the platform. The Govt. also can do one thing which is contract of the platform maintenance. The contract can be given to private party. By doing this railway can increase their revenue.

Lucknow - Pilibhit - Bareilly Railway line (400km) was started by British in 1891. They made it Meter gauge. And its unfortunate for the People of this Belt, still after 124 years they are waiting for Narrow Gauge, We are independent from last 67 years still any Government has not even try to convert this line into Broad Gauge. We are the Tax Payers, we are citizens of Republic of India, can we don't have the right to demand for it. Its my request to MODI Govt. kindly make it Broad Gauge

please extend the railway electrification network upto udaipur via chittaurgarh jn. From kota jn. Because udaipur is heritage city. foreigner come here for tour and here rail connectivity is very week. students come here daily for coaching and collage. here only single railway line for transportation. and ahead of this no broad gauge line. so connect the udaipur either abu road or ahembdabad. so that serious patient can take advantage of this. so please think about this very carefully

Investing in our railway is not just about more rails, trains, signals and stations. Investing in our railway is about making a real difference to people’s lives. We are the country with biggest rail line and more population using this mode of transportation. So Indian Gov rather than debating this issue on upper / lower houses, need to really ACT !! Try to have value adding resources instead indolent employees. A reconciliation is a must in order to get this Largest mode to value.

Please allow reservation of short-distance last minute booking on the long distance trains (e.g. between two successive stations). This will be beneficial for both the passengers and the railways. Currently, passengers are not allowed to book within a short distance and also not after the chart is prepared. As a result, they are forced to travel in general compartment. Sometimes TTEs allow people to board in the reserved compartments in a corrupt means.

I request you to consider addition of a Group named "Corruption" where cityzen can post their views on corruption, complaints and suggest remedial measure to check it. I feel that our government is not giving any importance to corruption where as it is one of the burning issues of to-day. This exactly is the reason for AAP gaining control over Delhi. Kindly include a Group 'CORRUPTION" in myGov
