Every State & Centrakl Govts seems to be in an e-governance spree. But I am yet to see any of the government offices responding to their e-mail ID or quotting their e-mail ID in their oficial correspondence. Their proclaimed transperency is so pseudo that they do not disclose name of signatory too. I request you to instruct all govt offices to display following in all their corespondence: 1. E-mail ID 2. Office telephone Noumber 3. Name of the signatory Without thes e-governance is a mockery

Crossing of railway lines by Pedestrians ,Cyclists and vehicles could not be avoided. It is Railway to caution them at busy points using red and green signals. These signals shall be placed both sides of the railway line, facing the pedestrians and vehicles at their eye level. The signal shall be operated automatically before 2 minutes of the passing of the train. The signal shall also produce warning sound / play recorded voice to caution. The signal may change to green after passing the train.

We should be doing something to offer better service to daily commuters. Someone should be bothered to see the rush in popular trains...can't we increase the number of coaches wherever possible? I have traveled in trains wherein the 2nd class compartments are full of people with unreserved and wait listed passengers. This causes a lot of inconvenience to passengers who have actually booked tickets 2 months in advance. Railways is a face of India's development. Can't we do anything to revive it?

I am a frequent traveler in trains. Rail fares were hiked in previous budget seeking requirement o funds for better service. However, there is nothing which I observe being done inside trains for cleanliness. Filthy toilets in 2nd Class - Show me one train in India, wherein a senior citizen can actually use a Western toilet in a 2nd class compartment. Add to this the dusty seats offered and improper maintenance of coaches. Many a times, the TTE's don't bother to check tickets in peak season

In some cases fear works very well...department should make some notices for high penalty with imprisonment for crossing the line where there is open line and also in man oriented crossings and take strict action agnst such persons. soon they will get a better result because to stop these actions immediately is a not very easy. We have to aware the peoples with some fear.

I am a daily commuter of Sealdah division. I am travelling from Station Seadah to Ichapur every day. As per railway time table to reach Ichapur 40-45min needed. But it is so surprising to say that before 1 hour we cant reach. As per my experience this delay happens there is no line switching /crossing between dumdum junction to titagarh station.

While booking tickets thru IRCTC refund for cancelled tickets may be credited within one or two hours after the cancellation. Now it takes more than one day.

We thinking to increase the train speed, because its to slow then a bike. I just want to know why our trains are not design with Aerodynamic model. This will increase the speed without any more changes in the tracks. Please ask the train designer to design the new train with aerodynamic model. Still why we are running the diesel engine if its too costly, why we are not upgrading this?. I am not sure of timeline for semi high speed train in india that runs 160 km/h. Please do something asap.
