In Mumbai, police used to catch hold of those found crossing railway lines and collect fines. This was working well and people were afraid to cross the lines. This seems to have been stopped.

To control such type of situation proper or easy passing should be provided to the people to avoid such type of risk with their life. If their is no option to provide such passing through that way than block that way properly so the people should not pass through it and provide other near option for the pass to the track.

This is the image of New Delhi Railway Station, Platform No. 16 on 28-02-2015. It is enough to display the crowd that we encounter on the platforms today. It became nearly impossible to walk on the platform. The same is the situation on most of the Railway Stations of India. I request the Hon'ble Railway Minister to do something urgently to prevent overcrowding of platforms. Suggestions may be invited on the Indian Railways Group on mygov website regarding the same.

Railings made of scratch iron can be constructed in between the tracks at railway stactions. The railings can contain some gates in b\w for the railway staff use.
