The digital world has become an essential part of our daily lives—whether it’s social media, online shopping, digital banking, or gaming. Along with these opportunities come new risks such as Investment Scam, Instant Loan, Part time job, Trading, Sextortion, Courier Fraud, Digital Arrest, Aadhaar Enabled Payment System (AEPS).

To build a safer online community, Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C) under Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) in collaboration with MyGov invites citizens to join the Digital Safety Dialogue. This open discussion is a space for sharing personal experiences, safety tips, and community practices that help protect against cyber threats. By learning from each other, we can strengthen digital safety awareness and promote secure online behavior for all.

Your inputs will help create a collective pool of ideas and practices that can be used to spread awareness and guide citizens towards building a Cybercrime-free Digital Bharat.

To avoid online money laundering gangs, the monthly online transaction limit should be set for all bank accounts as per the customer's request. If a customer requests to allow only their monthly online transactions within the limit of Rs. 5000, then their bank account should not be allowed to make transactions above that amount. If they request to design money transfers only within their state, the bank account of the recipient should have an address in that state. The methods of transferring money from their bank accounts should be designed annually as per the customer's request. If any change in services is required, it should be possible to directly approach the banks and apply for it. The lack of control over sending money to all bank accounts is the reason for money laundering on a large scale. It will be helpful for families who plan their spending. At the same time, even if people unexpectedly fall into the trap of fraud, they can escape with little loss.

Organizations use these principles to adapt to new threats, meet regulations, manage security budgets, ensure business operations can continue during an attack and protect all digital and physical assets.

We have become slaves to a new kind of colonialism. If we use software, it is Microsoft’s; if we search, it is Google’s; for chatting it is WhatsApp; for social media it is Meta or X. All these companies are American. Wherever these companies go, along with American economics, their politics also makes inroads. Behind this entire web, America’s slavery is forced upon you. Your data falls into the hands of American companies. These companies have the capacity to turn a spark of protest in your country into a wildfire. They have already demonstrated this in many countries around the world. Nepal is the latest example of this. It is happening in Pakistan too.
