The Third round of Smart City Challenge is started. In order to succeed in community-led Smart City Challenge, once again WE need YOU! Pasighat Municipal Council (PMC) proposes to re-engage with its citizens and community groups to give feedback and suggest improvements regarding the city profile, administrative efficiency and citizen engagement with the draft Smart City Proposal so that will help for revising the proposal for Round-3 of the Smart City Mission.

Your Participation is important for us.

The draft proposal will be finalized and submitted to MoUD once the citizen feedback on the draft proposal is incorporated.

There is a need for an animal shelter for animals that freely roam around and within the town.Stray or domestic they need to be controlled and be removed from freely strolling in the roads causing traffic havoc and menace..

Better road network plans for the current state of affairs as well as for the future generation so that the plans dont need to be updated every now and then except for minor corrections.Because traffic is going to be a huge sector of concern in the future if in case smart city for pasighat gets approved.For accessibility of any town is the first concern for any development of a town.

Hoping that Pasighat smart city proposal covers all aspects to bettering the lifeStyle of the people by creating opportunities for the youth.Facilitating all needs and catering to the specific need of the town as well as being a multi hub destination model city for all towns in the state so that smart city project runs for other towns and cities of the state as well in the future.

The Policy on tourism in Pasighat does not exist. To strengthen the tourism, Product Diversification/Improvement is needed. Wild Life Sanctuary, Golfing and religious tourism are the mainstream activities in Pasighat. The natural resources in the Pasighat like hills, waterfalls, springs, rivers Siang beauty and wild life reserves has not received enough attention and did not grow to its fullest potential. Similarly, Pasighat natural scenery beauty remains untapped.
