We need to free up the pavements. We cannot have vendors occupying the free space. We need to have the pavements free from encroachments. There is no "smartness" in a so called smart-city if the citizens cannot walk. Every day, we see someone coming and setting up his/her stalls. Part of the problem stems from the lack of employment opportunity. However, we need to free up the pavements. We cannot have vendors occupying.

Thanks Smart City team for making it a multi lingual discussion. It was really interesting to hear the discussion in Adi language. Please keep it up. M.E.O has rightly pointed out the people’s participation is of paramount importance. Ti is the people who will decide what kind of smart city they evasion. Every radio talk or discussion in a place like Pasighat which cosmopolitan in nature should be multi lingual. Smart city team has presented a smart discussion catering to all sections.
