The Third round of Smart City Challenge is started. In order to succeed in community-led Smart City Challenge, once again WE need YOU! Pasighat Municipal Council (PMC) proposes to re-engage with its citizens and community groups to give feedback and suggest improvements regarding the city profile, administrative efficiency and citizen engagement with the draft Smart City Proposal so that will help for revising the proposal for Round-3 of the Smart City Mission.

Your Participation is important for us.

The draft proposal will be finalized and submitted to MoUD once the citizen feedback on the draft proposal is incorporated.

Although the location of the ABD area is a good site allocated for the specific purpose,I hope that the govt has made specific arrangements for the people those who have land allotment in those areas for many times there are people who get greatly affected and the govt is indifferent to their grievances.It is important that they be made aware of whats to come and the consequences or they be provided with an alternative.

The location of ABD in Pasighat for retrofitting devel;opment is an appreciable effort as it has a walkable space around the town and the concentration of mixed population for mixed uses is a good effort to diversify the economic base in the area.Not to mention the fact that the area has been extended upto the Siang which is symbolic of the town in itself.

Adequate water suppl Assured electricity sanitation including solid waste management Efficient Urban mobility and transport Affordable housing especially for poor Robust IT(Information Technology)Connectivity and vitalization. Good Governance especially E-governance and Citizen participation Sustainable Environment safety and security of Citizens Particularly Safety and Security of Citizens Particularly Women,Children and the elderly Health and Education.

As we all know that there must be one city in a state.It develop our human activities in many ways.We were happy to know that there will be Smart City in our state(Pasighat).But before publishing new city in our state.we all must known(solve)the different problems of the Pasighat town .

Water transport and Metro transport are options to reduce the load on road traffic. Without Skill Development, their is no benefits of Smart City.

Every development activity are destroying our natural environment but it is a natural phenomenon like give and take and like English saying no pain no gain so cost of one another is developed.In my dream I think that development as well as we should take care our natural environment sides by side we should try protect and prevent our natural environment for future needs.
