rooftop solar panels to be made compulsory at least for gov building. this will set a good example to follow.further the solar panels may be given at throw away price with a provision to purchase electricity from them. this will encourage people to put solar panels 1. due to low cost 2. the input cost can be recovered with interest by taking electricity from them. 3. the head of the government department to make good use of solar power production and proper utilisation may be rewarded acr marks

Solar panel on roof is must and encouraged on all bungalows, otherwise no water connection. Green building concepts should be popularized, first implement in govt building with details how it is done. Glossy finish wall decors should be banned, which reflects light, temp affects birds sight also.

I would like to share about solar energy on railways. I think indian railway should install solar energy plates on the roof of train coaches which produce solar power to indian railways. And this is good for our railway transport industry.

In Nuclear Recycle Board BARC Mumbai (white Elephant), new office was set-up in 2011/2015 in Anushaktinagar,Mumbai . Advantage of Free sunlight & Natural cross ventilation was not taken. During daytime, 260 nos lights are required in office. Natural Cross ventilation reduces AC requirement.Layout should facilitate max use of free Sunlight, natural Ventilation & min electrical lights/ AC during day time. This can be followed in all Govt dept for energy conservation ( Swyamsevak).

Old Architecture must be consulted to keep our room/buldings cool naturally. I belong to Rajasthan, which is one of the hottest state during summers. there i see the old architecture around 100 years old, those buildings when you enter there you would experience a sudden drop of temperature maybe 10-15 degrees less than ambient temperature. During winters the same rooms provides you warmer temperatures than outside

We can drastically reduce the wastage of Petrol and Diesel, if we (1) reduce the idle running of Engines due to stalled traffic. Improve the Traffic Management, so that idling is reduced; (2) Better roads help the vehicles to run at optimal speed reducing the consumption of Petrol and Diesel. Invest fast to improve the quality of roads.

That appears to be a case of serious flawed planning. Punish the people who had permitted to generate Power without creating infrastructure to utilise the generated power. Strengthen the Electric Power Distribution System. Upgrade the Transmission Lines to very High voltage so that losses during transmission are reduced.
