Device a policy of Carrot and Stick to drastically reduce the T&D losses. Delhi city brought it down from about 50% to now something below 20%. Reward the Distribution companies who are able to bring down the T & D Losses to world standards. Initiate a special drive to (1) reduce the prices of LED Lamps; (2) make them popular to be used extensively. Recently we saw a news item that couple of Billions of units go waste as the generated power cannot be evacuated from the Power Plant to Consumer.

Sir It's good to talk about Renewable Energy from which we can earn a lot but it's the time to think about medication possibility without hassle to monetary weaker peoples and to tight all the hospitals and authorities restricting them to ask for money before enrolling a patient. These authorities should think If they have any situation like this what will they be feeling or If you don't have your Identity and money in your pocket and a situation has come up of hospitalisation - how will you....

We should think for solar and wind energy. Govt should install solar energy in all the office to reduce electric cost. At least 7-8 month we can use solar energy.

Dependency of rural people of northern part of West Bengal region only on agriculture generates a huge mass of unemployed youth those are facing constraints to continue their existence. Hence it is necessary to encourage people to go through the venture as entrepreneur especially on wide source of simple and low cost renewable energy technologies with a vast potentiality of income generation.

Number of agencies should be increased for helping public to get subsidies for erecting Solar Panels on the roof tops and to produce Solar Energy. Necessary Nationwide Implementation methods should be introduced vigourously as was done for Rainwater Harvestation in Tamilnadu some years before.Though many are willing, we are not able to contact the right agencies to get proper guidance.

I would like to suggest that government of India should encourage non conventional energy sources like solar or wind to generate power for residential purpose. Government should start net metering where energy produced by electric consumer with the help of wind/solar power can be used to offset electric energy provided by utility companies. This way govt power companies will get electricity without investing much and consumer will be encouraged to set up solar/wind power systems.

We should think about energy conservation. Most of the government offices enough energy is misused. We should take initiative by simply switch off the lights & fans where it's not required. We have to save energy for next generation by making a regular practice to off the switch when not required without thinking of place.
