Pls promote & encourage pollution free Electric Vehicles of all kind by waiving all import, excise & cst/vat duties & taxes for atleast 10 years. This action will certainly conserve fossil fuel, environment & foreign currency on crude import. Encourage making electric vehicles in India. Same actions should be taken to encourage SOLAR Energy. All kind of Solar apparatus should allowed to be import freely with 0% duty

What I believe is that a study must be conducted in all Govt and Pvt Offices about the electricity consumption patterns and the ways it is being wasted. Then recognize the areas that can be improved for say switching off Fans/ACs and Bulbs tubes when not in use, replace CFL with LED bulbs this will form the first part that is to save electricity. Then we need to make it mandatory for them to install Solar Panels and what about experimenting on using Power Floor that was used in Japan in the past

Government building walls should be made of glasses which can improve the lighting under poor condition also.As the terrace of the government building are not used at all so Solar Panel can be installed at the terrace which can decrease the consumption of electricity of the building.

One simple policy that govt should make is - ELECTRONICS ITEM MANUFACTURE COMPANY HAS TO PRINT HOW MANY UNITS WILL BE CONSUMED ON USE OF ELECTRONIC DEVICE. I.E. ON CFL BULB IT SHOULD BE PRINTED - (THIS BULB WILL USE ONE UNIT OF ELECTRICITY IN TEN HOURS). Every person should know about their daily energy consumption. By this way they can plan to save energy.

LED lights for domestic use or for straights, has been proved to be "Energy Efficient" & adopted now a days.Their costing above Rs 300/- in the market, forces public to purchase Rs 10/- filament bulb.Government should investigate the coating report of Manufacturing Company once again. A German student has designed a street light with dual charging facility,(Solar Panel + Wind Mill). Any one or both should be available any time. Why not our street lights should be like that, mostly near sea beach

E-waste recycling: Electronic companies and manufacturers should be encouraged and given incentives linked to their takeback and recycling options and their contribution to the recycling of e-waste from the drop zones
