All the govt. offices should have solar panels on their roofs and that should take care of the electricity requirements of the offices.

Mumbai get 24 hrs. Light. Adjoining region of vasai and virar without light. Who is going to look after? Why cant we have mmrda providing 24 hours light to all mumbai metropolitan development region

They are taking a charge for electricity spent but spending and wasting a lot of light in just decorating government campus. The people of city don't get power. The power should be 24 hours a day for all. Right to power is people right. Govt. Fail to provide it after 60 years of independence

Sir i want to convey in order to promote efficient use of energy, it should start from rural region where lot of disimilarities are found , the people who got electricity facilitiy, they are still using 250-300w bulbs for only lightning purpose, so awareness must be promoted among the people who still using it free of cost.At the same instant in many villages even electricity facility is not available.

Build buildings to be less dependent on lights during day time. Use day light efficiently. TERI has worked on such approaches. CII Institute of quality in Bangalore is another example. Instead being exceptions, the use of such approaches should be standard and even be mandatory for building approval.

Hi sir, i had seen lots of street lights around my area or in and around some places in hyderabad are not turned off in morning like these esp. in govt offices there are many leakages in current and also carelessness among employees. so this should be a considerable point and more and more alternative methods need to be utilized esp in corporate and govt offices. Recently i have seen tapping from electricity wire in some remote areas which are causing wastage/loses and also it is danger jai hind

I have paid electricity bill online after due date with extra charges but after that when nobody was at home person from their office came n cut my supply. after i went to their office a person told us that u should cm to me n inform me personally about late payment otherwise we will cut ur supply. then y provision is made for online payment after due date? finally after spending 4 hours personally at their office they connected our supply. after all these a person from their office again came to our home n asked have u paid bill???????

My opinion is Govt have to give more importance to produce power from natural sources such as from Air/Wind, Sea Water/Wave, Sun lights or from water/hydro etc and to stop illegal connection made by private/public by the good knowledge of power distributing company. .

Re-assessment of Power Requirement in the Govt. offices can be conducted by the third party.
