There should be a mandate from the govt., that only renewable energy installations primarily solar should be used in construction of buildings in Real Estate, Big Malls, Big Business Houses, Parks, Open Govt spaces, and also if possible along the periphery of all Indian Railways line covering the country. This will give an immense coverage of area and wont require additional acquisition of land. All other heavy Industries using Coal should have CAPEX and adapt solar power for future.

All the hotels and other business entities should be compelled for using solar energy systems. this would save much energy.

1. Set a national standard for energy efficiency taking such factors into consideration like illumination, ventilation, minimal power usage with maximum productivity etc. 2. Vigorously driving the implementation on such standards across all government offices

All the state Govt. electricity dept. should provide uniform rates across the Country for purchase of solar energy from pvt. entrepreneurs & provide grid facility for connection to the main system. With this many independent Solar generation plants can be set up across the barren/open lands. It should be mandatory for any office to generate 25% of the energy on their own. With measured supply to the office by the existing sources, there shall be no alternative, but generate their own energy.
