To expand this concept, build solar grids all over India, every village and every house should install solar systems and contribute to the national solar grid. This can also be an income source, by contributing energy to national grid. Government should implement schemes to encourage people to use solar energy. Government should encourage companies to invest in research on how Solar plants can be build in large scale and how solar energy can be conversed and transferred like electricity.

Relatively dry areas should be identified like Vidharbh, Marathwada, Rajasthan etc. and huge Solar plants should be build which can become the secondary source of energy generation. Attract private companies, foreign investers invest in these plants and monitored by government bodies (visa a vis RBI).

Inidan government should invest in Solar Energy, I am currently staying in Pune where water heating is done by common Solar system installed on terrace of each building of the society, thanks to the builder. The advantage is that we do not use water boilers for bathing purpose, thus saving monthly electricity bill to around Rs. 400 to 500. This concept should be implemented in a large scale in India, especially when summers are long and temperatures are high. Relatively dry areas should be ident

Start awareness program for energy conservation in Govt. Organizations same as swatch bharat abhiyan. I am employee of DGQA, Min. of Defence. In my office, I observed electric equipments are being kept tuned on without presence of employee. They thought this is the property of govt. what will go from our pockets. Release an order to give the data of electric equipments and maximum consumption of power in office and restrict them to don't misuse the light.

Sir, I am confused with policy of govt. Where without allocation of new budget, If govt. save Rs. 50,000Cr. Simple calculation, If one family given 4 LED Bulb cause saving of 80W * 10hr.*30 =24000 meance 24 unit per month. Every family will save Rs. 100 by subsidy rate or Rs. 150 before subsidy meance 25 crors family will save Rs. 50,000/- Cr. Per annum If govt. Honestly deliver 4 led bulb from subsidy allotted for gas for year 2014-2015, against unused gas cylinder on option used by citizen.

Yes energy efficiency is the only way to keep economy to keep move on. It is already alarming situation of petroleum availability after 45 years. its time to concentrate on R&D of Energy efficiency and innovating new ways of Energy generation. I request all to initiate the Solar energy production from domestic level. Other day I have seen of the local Telugu daily about the power generating plants where all leaves are with solar generating panels / chips Save energy Share energy

1) Make optimum use of daylight compulsory through retrofitting of solar light tubes on office buildings to reduce energy usage. 2) Make wind/solar energy generation compulsory for all high rise buildings. 3) Prepare a climate atlas for all cities and make future buildings conform to the climate atlas.
