will save about 30 % energy. The Bureau of Energy Efficiency is still having colonial period mind set and conducts audits in its conventional way, trains people as Britishers were training our sepoys. This has to change and the modern technology should be applied to enhance efficiency of lighting sector. BEE-CPWD-EESL all these white elephants should be asked to perform other wise wound it up. It has become rest house or rehabilitation centers for various officers, who merely enjoys life.

Our country is such a beautiful place, we have light energy for 300-320 days in an year. But still most of the offices, we close windows, put curtains and then switch ON fans and lights. This will put burden on energy supply and also risk the health of human resources for lack of unhealthy air. So we need to make a rule to use natural air and light in public utility buildings which is the first step for energy efficiency. Majority of the Govt offices uses age old fixtures, mere replacement...-2

I have seen street lights illuminated in daylight in Delhi, Hyderabad & Ahmedabad. The condition is very worst in tier two and three towns. We should have dual system (Timer and Day light sensor) for five poles. It would remove human error. The cost would be nearly five thousand rupees. But It would be recovered in Fifty days when street lights are switched off in time. God Bless My Country.

Inside all of comments I want to say that for a better way for gain efficiency we need a strict way for every man if they are work in any place as if they are going so switch off the button and make a law that every house can not use murkery or yellow light bulb if they do this they will go to jail or pay heavy fine.

All offices roof top should be use for solar pannal. More use of solar energy. All offices should use power saving equipments. Four way air and light ventilation offices should be construct instead of fully or centrally AC offices.
